Zero-length events

I use zero-length events to schedule instantaneous events (e.g., sunrise, sunset, etc). On desktop, it shows as an event of 1 hour long. On mobile, it shows the event as 24 hours long (until the next day at the same time). I can't schedule them either.

I am a little confused. Events can be manually adjusted to 1 minute long.

They will show on the calendar differently depending on the resolution you are showing, for example, my setting resolution is 15 so a 1 minute event will show as 15.

Could you explain a bit more about what are you asking for here?

For sunrise and sunset, I use a separate calendar source because the sunrise and sunset times change each day. These are zero length events (start and end are at the same minute) which I cannot edit myself.

On Morgen, though, it shows up, even in the text on the block, and when you click through to it, as e.g. 17:38 to 18:38, a 60-minute long event.

Jean: Ah I see. If the calendars are subscription calendars could you provide a link so we can look into this further?

Danny Hatcher (Customer Support) In this case, it's https://github.com/chrisblakley/Daylight-Calendar-ICS

      Use the sun.php server.

Zero length events are useful in other places though, including instantaneous events (e.g. a launch, a scheduled departure or arrival of someone else, etc).
