Task Synchronisation

Apple (reminders & or tasks) & Obsidian tasks sync to/from Morgen in the same way as with MACOS. Sync from Morgen could wait but I suspect that doesn’t make the feature any simpler. Morgen is a great product!

Sorry. But NO - syncing unscheduled tasks [Defined as not having a Due Date in Obsidian Tasks] between Obsidian & Morgen is not necessary at all in my Workflow. Unscheduled tasks for me are best held in Obsidian until they need detailed scheduling & commitment & then I want to transfer them to Morgen. I usually only review the scheduling of these unscheduled tasks in Obsidian on MAC/OS at the end of the day.

What I meant to say is that if I make changes to scheduled tasks in Morgen Mobile (held on a Server/Cloud) the updating back to Obsidian (locally on MAC/OS) can therefore wait until I get back onto MAC/OS again because I'm only working on immediate, previously scheduled, tasks in Morgen. Obsidian will then replicate as usual between instances.

I'm not sure that that simplifies the job however. 🙄

I apologise for any confusion & I hope I've clarified my comments.

Thanks for your (enthusiastic) involvement in both Morgen & Obsidian.

John Sorry I am still a little confused.

Unscheduled tasks don't have a Morgen planned start or end date/time.

      Due dates are different.

Obsidian tasks with or without a due date won't impact if they show in Morgen on either desktop or mobile.

Once an Obsidian task has been scheduled in the Morgen calendar it will then sync from computer to mobile via the connected calendar assuming that calendar is synced to the Morgen cloud.

Am I right in thinking you would like to complete the scheduled task on Morgen mobile and once synced to desktop then update the Obsidian local file.

      Is that correct?

To clarify, you would like local integrations to sync unscheduled tasks.

    Is that correct?
