Multiple Calendar Viewing Tabs

I like seeing both a monthly view and weekly view, but the calendars I need to see differ on both. For instance, the weekly view has ALL my time blocked calendars. But on my monthly view, I just want to see events. Instead of switching between the two and unchecking most calendars (and back again), I'd love to have two tabs for each of the views set to the filters that I predetermine. Thanks for the consideration!

Danny Hatcher (Customer Support) Yes, feel free! I am using the workaround.

Kalyn, while it's not the solution you're looking for, would a combination of calendar sets and keyboard shortcuts work for your use case?

AFAIU, your two transitions (weekly -> monthly, monthly -> weekly) can be achieved each with 2 keyboard shortcuts: 0..9 to select the calendar sets, w/m to select the calendar view.

As a reminder, calendars and calendar sets are in a many-to-many relationship: you can assign multiple sets to a single calendar, and you can assign multiple calendars to a single set.

Alaa Yes, I think that would work! As long as I'm able to say which calendars are default on both, that would be perfect.

Kalyn with my approach, the calendars wouldn't appear by default when switching from weekly/monthly to monthly/weekly, if that's what you're asking.

After first assigning the calendar sets to each relevant calendar (a one-time thing), you would have to select the calendar set by simply pressing one of the 0..9 keyboard keys after switching from week/month to month/week, in contrast with the approach you mentioned of "unchecking most calendars". No need to uncheck calendars back and forth, calendar sets can do that with one key-press.

Btw, I used "would", but this approach can be used as of today. For more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zetlWf6ICSE

Alaa Ahh, I see what you are saying. That would be a lot faster than unchecking multiple calendars each time. 👏🏻
