Default calendar for task lists (Notion databases, Linear teams, Clickup Spaces)
Problem: Most of my tasks within a task list are relevant to a specific calendar. Currently, when I make a task within the hypothetical task list "Calendar 1 Task List", it adds the task to the most recently used calendar. Then I have to change the task calendar to the relevant calendar "Calendar 1".
Proposed solution:
Within properties for each task list, there should be a "choose associated calendar" selector.
An alternative (or additional) solution would be to have the option to create task lists from your calendar list. e.g. in "Settings > Accounts > Calendar 1 properties" add a "create task list from calendar" on/off button.

+1 for this! I think this would be a useful feature for integrations too - I personally use todoist for capture, and it would be super nice if #work went to work-calendar by default :)

Yes other time blocking apps have this e.g. Sunsama - it makes scheduling of tasks seamless rather than having to select the right calendar every time. I agree it's important to be able to do it for integrations too

Only workaround I found would be to use Frames and let the AI do the planning and therefore adding it to the right calendar of the frame. But I still would like to have the control of which calendar is used for each task list

Two things: I came to this site to see if this was a thing that other people needed. I DESPERATELY NEED THIS, so yay! Happy it's under review. Please, I beg you, make it a reality.
Second thing: I'm fangirling a bit that Marie Poulin is here using Morgen, too! Love her Notion organization work & content.
And a bonus third thing: this really is the best app, and I'm so appreciative of how the Morgen team listens and builds around customer feedback. I'm never leaving - this app holds my life together!

Tasks in the sidebar don't yet have an assigned calendar.
When you schedule a task onto the calendar the slot then gets assigned which you can change for each scheduled session.
You can default assign a calendar, or make them match the Frame.
I will merge this request with a similar request about task lists as I feel the development would be similar.
My personal workflow has 'Youtube 1' in a different calendar from 'Youtube 2' which is different from 'tasks' etc.

If you are specifically referring to tags, Morgen doesn't have tags on tasks yet. It is in the roadmap.

The "default calendar for tasks" setting is currently the only way to choose, which calendar is used for the tasks.

My request is somewhat similar to this, I figured I'd upvote this instead of making a new one.
I'd like to be able to setup separate default calendar for Morgen tasks, Notion tasks, etc. Currently I can only setup a single default calendar for all tasks.
