Background Refresh for mobile App
Currently, the iOS app doesn't utilize background refresh functionality. This means the app doesn't automatically fetch and update information from the cloud in the background. As a result, the app's data might become outdated if changes are made while the app is closed. To see the latest information, I have to manually open the app and wait for it to refresh.
I would greatly appreciate it if the app could leverage background refresh. This would allow the app to periodically sync with the cloud in the background, even when it's not actively in use. This background refresh would ensure that the app's information is always up-to-date, reflecting the latest changes made.

It's been almost a year since this feature was requested, unfortunately this caused me switch back apple calendar, first because i don't need to worry about opening app once i while or even have it open at all and have up to date view, second, since the apple watch smartstack complication of apple calendar is unbeatable. till those are fixed I'm doubt I'll be back. Morgen always won my vote cause user feedback is actually tangible, let's hope with this pace when the perfection is reached, we won't see another motion in therms of pricing

+1. This is ESSENTIAL. Simple use case: I add a task on my desktop, such as "urgent, pick up the cat from the vet at noon." Then I grab my phone and go out, but don't open the Morgen app. Consequently, I forget to pick up the cat at the vet because Morgen app doesn't update. :( :( :( :( NOT good functionality for a task manager app!

I believe these have all be fixed but Morgen does require a refresh for the mobile app to be updated at times.
This seems to align with the background refresh so I will merge the 2 requests instead of completing this one.

This sounds like a bug. Is this still an issue?

Antonio: Is this a delayed sync or not syncing at all?

Same here for iOS app, events are scheduled up 2 hours later (e.g. starting at 10:00 instead of 8:00), which would make sense for my timezone (Europe/Zurich = GMT+2).
Tried deleting app and resyncing, nothing seems to work. Desktop app shows correct time.

100% - I use the widget to check when my next meeting is and this won't update till the main app is opened. Kind of makes the widget useless.
